EYFS/ Reception TA
We are currently seeking support from an experienced Level 3 Qualified TA or Nursery Nurse for a Primary school in South Liverpool, for a full-time role starting in September. Demand in these settings remains high in the new academic year due to the disruption to learning this year and last year.
We are looking for an EYFS teaching assistant or Nursery Nurse to start part time in September at a primary school in Allerton. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting in a Nursery or EYFS setting as well as assisting in the classroom. The School is an Ofsted rated “Good” with high standards and a strong aim for “everyone to experience what it feels like to succeed and develop their potential, and this high expectation will lead to standards rising at every stage, as well as being the driver for continual improvement to teaching and learning.”
Daily Rate: GBP66.30 -80/day
Full Time. September 2021 to July 2022 (possibly longer)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting child development in the following key areas through engaging activities and play:
- 1. Speech and Language development
- 2. Physical and Motor development
- 3. Social and Emotional Development
- Assessing progress in these areas to ensure all children are following the typical developmental trajectory – Identifying areas for improvement
- Effectively communicating with the class teacher and parents
- Continually monitoring the play environment in alignment with guidelines to ensure the area is free of risk (e.g. Carefully disposing of waste and thoroughly cleaning after mealtimes)
- Running small group interventions to bridge attainment gaps
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 3 TA (+)
- Experience working in Early Years and KS1
- Ideally previous experience supporting SEN pupils
- Passionate about child development and supporting learning
- Availability to start in September
