1:1 Teaching Assistant Needed In Eastbourne

  • 1:1 Experience Needed
  • Behaviour Management Is A Must!

Teaching Personnel are working with a mainstream primary school in Eastbourne who are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with MLD (Moderate learning difficulties).

This will be a full time role, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm and will be a September start.

The role is based in KS1 and so a knowledge of the EYFS and the National curriculum is desirable. It is essential that you have prior experience of working in a school setting, and must have at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

Your key duties will include:

-Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with MLD.

-Supporting students academic, social and emotional needs

-Offering feedback and confidently liaising with relevant members of staff regarding pupils progress.

-Excellent use of behaviour management

To be considered for this role you will be required to:

-Have previous experience supporting pupils with MLD and SEN

-be confident in using effective behaviour management

-Have Maths and English GCSE A*-C

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
