Reception Teaching Assistant - SEMH

  • Support pupils with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
  • Provide support for individual pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
  • According to the child’s age and individual needs, duties may include helping with toileting and changing as the need arises.

Reception Teaching Assistant - SEMH

Teaching Personnel are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant, who has relevant experience, supporting children with the development of their social skills.

The role initially will be working with two pupils in Reception class, who have SEMH and behavioural problems.

Working in a Catholic Primary school the appointed candidate will support the aims and ethos of the school.

You may be required to work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary.

According to the child’s age and individual needs, duties may include helping with toileting and

changing as the need arises.
