Early Years (Nursery, Reception) Teacher needed for Salford Catholic Primary School, M27.
Long term - 12 month position.
Will be fully supported in the post, and CPD opportunities will be encouraged.
A Catholic Primary School in Salford, M27 is looking for a Teacher to cover the Maternity leave of their Reception Teacher. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Teacher - NQT'S are welcome to apply. Experience of working in the Early Years & thorough knowledge of Foundation Stage is essential. If you are comfortable working with the new EYFS curriculum and continuous provision, that would be beneficial.
The position would be working with the Reception class until the end of the academic year, and then continuing in September for the duration of the maternity cover to ensure a smooth transition for the pupils. This is a full time role that would begin 4th June for a period of 12 months.
- Salary (£22,467 - £38,250 - Pro Rata)
- Fixed, Long Term Contract
- Reception Teacher within aspirational EYFS Unit
- Start date in March/April
As a Reception teacher, experience of working with various phonics schemes, leading small groups and planning for keyworkers would be desirable. In addition, a passion for working in the outdoor environment and learning through play would be important. In return, the school would offer the teacher all the support and CPD possible through the school and Salford Diocese.
Candidates would ideally be Catholic or have experience of working in a Catholic School. If not you would at least be in full support of the Catholic ethos.
