Reception Teacher maternity cover from October 2018

Role

A mainstream 2 form entry Primary School in Leeds, Pudsey are currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher for a full-time post covering a maternity starting after October half-term for a 1 year fixed term contract. Their are currently 2 Reception classes in the school both with 30 children who have moved up from the school Nursery. Majority of the children are meeting age related expectations but majority of children speak English as a second language.

Teachers must have:

  • Recent experience teaching in EYFS / Reception in the last 2 years
  • Must have experience working with pupils of mixed abilities including; EAL and Speech, Language and Communication Issues
  • Valid passport
  • DBS

Teachers must also have reference details from their last 2 employers.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
