Early Years Teacher - Newcastle Upon Tyne

Full time position available from January 2022 and will run until Easter 2022, potentially longer. 

Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join an imaginative and energetic classroom based in a Primary School located in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area Recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the School are seeking an individual that will work closely with pupils to enhance their Personal, Social and Emotional development.  The role involves educating a class of 32 enthusiastic students who are making great progress due to the motivational method of teaching.

The role requires:

  • The ability to develop and implement lessons and work schemes, using the National Curriculum as a framework
  • A passion to deliver creative lessons that will motivate and engage children
  • Initiative and an enthusiastic nature are essential as the school pride themselves in their innovative and supportive team of Teaching staff
  • Full time role, starting in January 2022 

Essentials:

  • UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Recent experience within EYFS and an interest in the possibility of the role being permanent
  • Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
  • Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
