Reception Teacher | Eastbourne | Full Time

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Eastbourne to help them recruit a Reception teacher to join them for the Summer Term. The role will be full time and until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role in September for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be teaching a class of 20, with one child receiving 1:1 nurturing support. The school has recently been graded 'good' by Ofsted and is 2 form entry, with strong community links and good behaviour across both year groups. The school SLT and staff pride themselves on their approach to behaviour management, with reward schemes in place across the school to encourage good behaviour and achievement.

The right candidate will have:

  • A creative approach to teaching, with the ability to be imaginative when implementing new learning techniques
  • Experience teaching EYFS or Key Stage 1
  • Dedication to their role as a teacher, with a genuine passion for education and helping children in their learning and development
  • The ability to quickly adapt to new working environments
  • Patience and empathy with the skills to nurture the children and offer a pastoral approach when needed
  • Up to date safeguarding training (This can be provided free of charge through Teaching Personnel, should this need updating)

  • Daily pay of £100-180 per day, depending on experience
