Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School located in the heart of Doncaster who are seeking a Reception Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave until the end of this academic year.

The role will entail teaching the current EYFS curriculum to a class of 23 students, with the assistance of Teaching Assistants. We are seeking a nurturing Teacher with the ability to form positive relationships and communicate effectively with staff, parents and children. The role is currently temporary until the end of this academic year, however a longer term role could be available for the right candidate. Applications from both qualified and newly qualified Teachers will be accepted.

With excellent transport links, the access to your own vehicle is not essential.

Our ideal teacher would;

  • Have a flexible approach to teaching and experience working in foundation stage
  • Be committed to offer a high standard of teaching and have a positive attitude to children's learning
  • Be resourceful, planning exciting and engaging lessons
  • Have sound knowledge of current assessments and phonics schemes of work
