Reception Teacher - Bury (BL9) Primary School
A large primary school in Bury (BL9) area are currently searching for a reception teacher to cover a maternity leave. This role will start on the 25th February and will last until 19th July (end of the academic year). As this is a large and expanding primary school in Bury, there is a possibility of this role carrying on in to the new academic year.
The Head teacher is looking for an experienced EYFS teacher and any candidate must have worked in a reception class for a full term in the last 12 months. This is a GOOD graded school with high expectations and so the Head teacher wants a candidate who will be able to come in and hit the ground running straight away. This is a full time role and the successful candidate will be expected to throw themselves into the whole school life and promote the school ethos. In return, the school can offer you the support of an excellent senior leadership team, teaching assistants to support you and the pupils in the class room and PPA time during the week.
The school is larger than average and have a large percentage of children with EAL. This is a lovely Bury primary school with excellent facilities including intervention rooms and sensory rooms for break out sessions and good transport links to the school. Ofsted in their most recent inspection found that the school looks to achieve 'excellence through belief, inclusion and resilience'.
