This school is requiring a passionate, energetic reception Key Stage 1 teacher for a full time position starting in the final term of this Academic year. This Southmead located school boasts a fantastic reputation holding an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' grading. As a Reception Teacher you will be responsible for the introductory year in our pupils' education. You will be providing pastoral care along with supported learning to help develop the children's curiosity and knowledge. As an early years teacher you will need to be able to inspire, excite and nurture the pupils through this crucial developmental year and to assist with the development of a child's personal, social, language as well as physical coordination abilities.

Successful candidate:

  • Full NQT
  • A respect and fondness for children, particularly early years
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • The ability to inspire by enthusing young children
  • Previous experience with Key Stage 1 pupils or pre entry work experience with children of a relevant age group
