RE teaching vacancy in Preston

Do you have recent experience teaching KS3/4 RE?

If so, I have a school in Preston who could be looking for you! At Teaching Personnel we work in partnership with a secondary school in Preston who are looking for an RE Teacher from ASAP or after February half term to cover a maternity leave within the Humanities Department.

The school is an average sized secondary school with around 900 students on roll. The school has high expectations for the delivery of high quality lessons and pupil outcomes.

The incoming RE Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver their own lessons (shared resources will be available) and mark students work accordingly. With this being a long term teaching opportunity you will also be expected to attend termly parents evenings and staff CPD.

The school are welcoming applications from both NQTs and experienced Teachers. This is a 'Good' school with 'Outstanding' features were students present good behaviour. To be eligible to apply for this role you MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE in RE

- Recent experience teaching KS3/4 RE

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons

- The commitment to a long term, full-time post
