Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Woolton, Liverpool who need a Religious Education Teacher for a November start after half term.

A fully qualified RE teacher would be ideal for the role, however anyone who has humanities experience could still prove to be a valuable asset for the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and teach lessons within the topics of religious/ethical beliefs.
  • Allow for the pupils to understand the diversity in the range of religions.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress throughout lessons.
  • Maintain a strong level of behaviour management.
  • Work with underachieving pupils to develop grades.

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant QTS in RE or Humanities.
  • Have experience working within a secondary school setting.
  • Confident in delivering high quality lessons to pupils
  • Hold a full child workforce DBS certificate on the update service (this can be obtained through Teaching Personnel if you don’t own one).
  • Provide 2 work-based references within the last 2 years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
