We are looking to appoint an experienced, qualified Teacher of Humanities, specialising in RE. We would like the incoming Teacher to start in the summer term. The position will be appointed on a temporary basis until the end of the 2021/22 academic year at which point, pending staffing reviews, a permanent position may be made available.
Your role will be:
- To play a crucial role in developing and adapt the classroom curriculum to meet students’ needs and ensuring that students develop a depth and love of humanities and RE
- To make sure all students learn to read, write and speak confidently, fluently and accurately
- To make sure all students develop a deep and connected knowledge and skills of Humanities and RE (as we grow, this post is likely to become RE focused)
- To share and support the academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
