Graduate Teaching Assistant, Salford

  • Full time and part time opportunities available
  • Working with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, along with covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • £55 - £65 per day depending upon previous experience

A large Secondary school in Salford are currently seeking to appoint a Graduate teaching assistant to join their support department this academic year.

Do you have experience working with young people aged 11-16? Have you recently completed a degree and wish to gain an introduction to a Secondary school?

Our partner school have a large support department where pupils who have become disengaged from learning are able to go and complete lessons in a quiet and controlled environment. Your role as a Graduate teaching assistant will include working on a 1:1 basis with identified pupils within the Learning Support Unit. You will support the pupils by breaking work up into manageable tasks, and assisting with reading and writing.

- £55 - £65 per day depending on previous experience

- Gain experience covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher

Located near to the Worsley region of Salford, our partner school can be accessed via the A580 and M60 Motorway. Public transportation links from central Manchester, Bolton and Wigan also provide a direct route to the school.
