Pupil Interventions Mentor - Successful school

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work as part of one of our experienced support teams in a large and growing secondary near the Staines area. Duties will include: supporting students with Special Education Needs in their learning, both in the classroom and one to one. You will have an ability to support students by differentiating work, pre-learning key words and explaining tasks.

You will need to be patient, understanding and capable of establishing a good rapport with a wide variety of people, particularly children and teachers. ICT skills required. Previous experience or an interest in teaching would be an advantage.

We are looking to recruit candidates who would provide a strong and positive role model for children with emotional and social difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
