Psychology & Sociology Teacher Vacancy - Sept 2017

  • • Long-term placement (initially for 1 term, with a view to becoming permanent)
  • • GCSE/A-Level Psychology & Sociology (AQA)
  • • M1-M6 (£22,244-£33,160) negotiable depending on experience

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Catholic School on the Wirral who are currently seeking a Teacher of Psychology/Sociology. Due to a long-term staff absence, the Head teacher is looking for a dedicated and inspiring Psychology/Sociology Teacher to join their team as soon as possible for a temporary, full-time position.

The School:

A Roman Catholic Secondary School and Sixth Form with Academy status located in Wallasey, Wirral, England. It is larger than average in size and this is a great strength of the College as it enables them to offer a breadth of curriculum choice that is the envy of other schools. The proportion of students who are disadvantaged and therefore eligible for the pupil premium is high and is almost twice the proportion found nationally. A small minority of students follow vocational courses at Wirral Metropolitan College as part of their school curriculum in both English and Maths and the College offers a fantastic opportunity for anybody looking for the next career move.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
