Job description

A confident Psychology Teacher is needed for a full-time long-term assignment in Barnsley.

Do you love to demonstrate the excitement of Psychology experiments and inspire pupils to want to learn the wonders of Psychology?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a large secondary school in Barnsley to recruit a Psychology Teacher starting in April until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension.

You will be required to deliver inspiring lessons up to KS5, using high-quality lab equipment, enabling you to wow studentss with your experiments and Psychology knowledge. Prior experience teaching Psychology is essential.

The school strives to attain the highest standards in their work, having respect for others and developing their individual talents. Academically, students make very good progress and our teaching is highly regarded.


  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Psychology Specialism B.Ed., PGCE, CertEd, Learners First, SCITT, Teach First and hold QTS status
  • Excellent understanding of the secondary curriculum
  • Be confident, passionate and highly motivated
  • Have empathy, patience and the drive to make a difference


  • Pay rates of £110-£170 per day dependent on experience
