Job description

  • Are you a Psychology graduate who is looking for education based work now?
  • Are you looking to go in to teacher training or complete an Educational Psychology doctorate?
  • Do you have experience of working with children aged 3-11?
  • Do you have experience of working with children with disabilities, challenging behaviours or caring for those who are most vulnerable?

If you answered yes to any of the above, Teaching Personnel could have the role for you! The Winter term is a very busy time of year and a lot of our schools require teaching assistants on a day to day, short term and long term basis. We currently have a primary school in Widnes who are looking for Teaching Assistants who are confident, motivated and are able to work on their own initiative in school. The role will involve providing general classroom support and 1:1 support to young children with challenging behaviour and learning difficulties. Although beneficial, you don't need to have a Teaching Assistant qualification, but it is essential to have worked with children previously or with vulnerable adults.
