Job description

Are you a psychology graduate? Or currently studying at the moment?

Do you want to gain experience in the field of special needs?

Are you based near Uxbridge or West Drayton?

Full time/Part Time Available!

The Role:

You will be working 1:1 with a pupil, keeping him/her engaged on their work. You will also be writing up weekly progress reports on the pupil's achievements.90% of pupils have medical/physical difficulties so candidates must be comfortable with Moving and Handling and Personnel Care. 24% of pupils have significant SEMH needs that require intervention from the school's specialist Nurture Team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting special needs, either in a professional capacity or through personal experience. Educational experience or a background in care is preferred. However, a calm and patient personality is valued above all.

School Information:

  • Hours: 8:30-3:30
  • Pay: £65 a day
  • Located in Uxbridge
  • Facilities include a hydro-pool
