Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Working with a partner primary school in Central London, Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with a Psychology background to join their SEN team. Having identified a number of additional needs in their incoming nursery class, this lovely school right by the Regent's Park are looking to bring on additional support staff to provide SEN support across all year groups from September. The school takes on a number of recent graduates each year with the goal to train them to progress into either teacher training or on to the next steps of their path to becoming educational psychologists.

You will have the opportunity to work as part of the highly experienced SEN team working with small groups and providing 1:1 support. There are a number of students across the school with additional needs including Autism, Down's syndrome and challenging behaviour. The highly trained staff will support you as you learn how to provide SEN intervention support and teach you techniques for working with specific needs.

Successful candidates will fulfil the following criteria:

• Recent Psychology or related subject Graduate
• Keen interest in building a career in education
• Experience or substantial knowledge of SEN support
