Teaching Personnel are recruiting on the behalf larger than average Primary School in the Hulme area of Manchester (M15). The school are seeking a psychology graduate Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism, full time, on a 1:1 basis. The successful applicant will ideally have experience working in KS2, and will be looking to develop their career in education! The post is to start after the May half term and will run up into the new academic year.

The head teacher is looking for a dedicated member of staff to join a dynamic KS2 team. The school prides itself on 'making learning inclusive to all its learners' and is looking for a pro active graduate with an enthusiastic attitude who has a passion for developing a career with in education. This school was rated 'GOOD' at its last OFSTED inspection with aspects of 'OUTSTANDING'.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 child with specific needs
  • Monitor and track pupils learning development
  • Provide a supportive environment to aid learning
  • Work closely with the SENCO to monitor progression

This 'GOOD' central Manchester school can offer support from an 'OUTSTANDING' management and leadership team. The successful applicant will have continual support from the schools SENCO. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
