Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on the behalf of a larger than average, 2 form entry Primary School in Central Manchester (M13). The school are seeking a psychology graduate to support children with a range of specific needs such as; Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Global Learning Delay and Moderate Learning Difficulties. The successful candidate will have experience working in an educational setting with children in KS2 and will be looking to enhance their career in education.

This school was rated 'GOOD' at its latest OFSTED inspection and prides itself on 'encouraging positive learning experiences' at all times. To be considered for this post you will be compassionate and adaptable and keen to aid the academic development of all the children in your care.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with a range of complex needs
  • Monitor and track pupil's learning development
  • Provide a supportive environment to aid learning
  • Work closely with the SENCO to monitor progression

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
