The Role

Teaching Personnel are currently in the process of recruiting psychology graduates in Hull to work with an alternative provision within the city of Hull itself.

The school has been rated 'Good' by OFSTED at its previous report in 2015 and has a fantastic location boasting a gym, art and IT facilities. The provision itself is very nurturing of staff and pupils alike with a keen eye to develop existing staff's skill base and general wellbeing at the school.

About you as the ideal candidate

  • The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with challenging behaviour in the past preferably within a school setting.

  • Alternatively you might have worked with children or adults in another setting, perhaps in a residential care setting or in a volunteering charity role.

  • Ideally, you will be trained as a teaching assistant and be a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, although this is not necessarily essential, but will preferably have at least a 2:1 in Psychology

  • You will have Team Training or would be willing to undertake.

  • You will be committed to the safe guarding of children

  • You will have your own transportation and be willing to travel reasonable distances for work
