Psychology Graduate required to work in SEN schools

Job description

Are you looking to be an SEN TA? Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit psychology graduates (or similar) as Special Needs Support Assistants in local schools.

You will need to be proactive, enthusiastic and have a determination to succeed. Prior experience working in SEN and a Learning Support Assistant qualification are desirable but applicants with other backgrounds will also be considered - the best qualification is the right attitude!

The needs of the pupils are broad and may include

  • Specific learning difficulties
  • Autism
  • Behavioural and emotional difficulties/ADHD

Applicants with additional skills including Team Teach, Makaton and PECS are extremely sought after.
