Are you a Psychology Graduate seeking a career in Education?

Would you like to gain experience and be paid for doing so?

If so, then fantastic! Teaching Personnel require a willing Teaching Assistant who ideally has a background in Psychological studies to work in one of our SEN provision schools in Lincoln

The role would typically be from 8:50-15:00, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate would initially be recruited on a trial basis, with scope for something longer term to develop. The school places a high value on familiarity and having their staff maintain bonds with their students, so someone looking for Mid-Long term work would be perfect.

The students are predominantly SEMH/Autism with a minority of students possessing challenging behavioural and psychological issues.

The ideal applicant should be:

  • Active, healthy and engaging
  • Comfortable working in an informal manner; this school, due to the nature of their students is very particular about their ethos in this respect
  • Be passionate, empathetic and understanding
  • Be patient and equipped to deal with behavioural problems: experience with this can be a huge help however what is also vitally important is that the applicant has the right temperament and personality to do this effectively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
