Teaching Personnel are recruiting on the behalf larger than average Primary School in the Didsbury area of Manchester (M20). The school are seeking a psychology graduate Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism, full time, on a 1:1 basis. The successful applicant will ideally have experience working in KS2, and will be looking to develop their career in education! The post is to start ASAP will run for the forseeable future. The opportunity to work on to a school based contract will also be possible.

The head teacher is looking for a dedicated member of staff to join a dynamic KS2 team. The school prides itself on 'making learning inclusive to all its learners' and is looking for a pro active psychology graduate, who understands the theory behind specific needs, who has an enthusiastic attitude and a passion for developing a career in education. This school was graded 'OUTSTANDING' at its last OFSTED inspection.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 child with specific needs
  • Monitor and track pupils learning development
  • Provide a supportive environment to aid learning
  • Work closely with the SENCO to monitor progression

This 'GOOD' central Manchester school can offer support from an 'OUTSTANDING' management and leadership team. The successful applicant will have continual support from the schools SENCO.
