Join the support department of an improving secondary school in Bury; supporting pupils aged 11-16 varying in levels of learning ability.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant.
  • Start date – 27th February 2023
  • Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Providing support for pupils with a range of SEN and additional learning needs.
  • Earn up to £1450 per month, depending on experience.

Our client secondary school is located near Bury and is currently looking for an additional member of staff due to several pupils requiring extra support. The incoming candidate will be expected to provide in class support for identified students with a range of needs to ensure they have the correct resources to meet their target grades.

To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously or transferrable experience to work. Any specific experience supporting young people with additional learning needs or SEN previously is desirable. This is a brilliant opportunity for a recent graduate looking for their first role within education.

Our client school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Bolton, Prestwich, Whitefield, Crumpsall and central Manchester via the M62 and A56. The school has links to public transport from neighbouring areas such as Whitefield and Rochdale for candidates who do not have their own transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
