Are you a Psychology Graduate wishing to work alongside children and young people within a support capacity? Would you benefit from a long term position within a mainstream Secondary school?

A large Salford based Secondary school are recruiting for a Psychology Graduate to work within their support provisions on a full time basis, from September 2019 providing identified support to hard to reach young people across Key stages 3 & 4. If you would like to be considered for this exciting Psychology Graduate position please see the details below;

  • Full time Psychology Graduate, required from September 2019.
  • Gain invaluable experience before embarking upon a career in teaching or mentoring
  • Earn up to £350 per week, previous experience dependent*
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support within the 'Inclusion Faculty' to pupils who require additional support throughout the school day.
  • Working with students and class teachers during lesson times to promote positive behaviour and motivation.

The Headteacher wishes to meet interested applicants at the earliest convenience for an immediate start. Previous experience working with children and young people is desired but not essential for this position.

Located in Worsley, Salford, our partner secondary school currently has 1,200 pupils on roll, aged 11-16 the school intakes a high proportion of students requiring additional support during the time that they are in school, this position is guaranteed for the full academic year.

Salford can be easily accessed via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Trafford and Wigan. There are also numerous public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
