Primary Tutor

Are you a primary Teacher?

Have you worked in a Lancashire Primary School?

Would you consider working online if you were provided the training?

Due to the latest school shutdown due to COVID-19, Teaching Personnel have been contacted by local schools in the East Lancashire area to provide tuition sessions which are intended to support pupils, schools & families across the UK. The government have set high standards for online teaching, which must equate to 3 hours of learning per day. They have also allocated over a billion pounds to address gaps in learning, which schools are looking to address not so pupils do not fall further behind. We are looking to add specialist staff to our bank of teachers/tutors who can work on a flexible timetable basis during the week to deliver 1:1 and small group tuition sessions to primary aged pupils predominately in English & maths. Teaching Personnel are calling on experienced teachers to get in touch right away.

We currently have four schools that are requesting online tutors to start ASAP to provide online learning/lessons for their pupils.  

A solid knowledge of the primary framework/curriculum is essential, but a commitment and passion for this specific style of learning is a must. Targeted pupils could range from lower ability pupils, Gifted & Talented pupils or LAC pupils. The demand is growing and our available candidates is growing shorter by the week due to the volume of schools interested in appointing a temporary member of staff through Teaching Personnel. Training will be provided and all sessions are recorded for review, improvements and safeguarding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
