Teaching Assistant required for Primary Class in Autism School

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work full time at a provision in Wokingham with primary aged students with Autism and other associated conditions such as ADHD, speech, language and communication needs and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

You will be responsible for working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis with students in the class, assisting them with academic development as well as social and emotional development in accordance with their individual learning plans. You will need to work closely with the class teacher and members of the SLT to ensure that all students feel safe and happy in their learning environment. Someone with previous experience in a similar role would be ideal; however the school are happy to consider applications from people looking to get into this line of work.
