About the Primary Teaching Assistant role

This Primary Teaching Assistant role involves you working across the entire school, learning from all of the experienced and newly qualified Teachers at the school. Part of your Primary Teaching Assistant role will be leading 1-1 and group sessions of targeted intervention sessions, working with lower ability pupils who need support and guidance to reach their targets. As your skills and confidence increases, you will be given the opportunity to plan and deliver your own mini-lesson, showing off your passion and knowledge to the Headteacher who is keen to offer salaried Teacher Training opportunities to those who succeed.
