Our client Primary Academy is situated in Croydon, the curriculum focuses on language and functional skills development. The Role

  • The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 class.
  • You will be working throughout the four classes and have a structured timetable supporting both 1:1 and group/classes.
  • The position is full time, 5 days a week from 8:30am to 4:00pm, the role offers a daily rate between £65 and £75.

The school are looking for someone who can commit until the end of the academic year, for someone who is devoted to pupil development and keen to get involved in all aspects of school life. As a Teaching Assistant it will be important that you can support pupils in all lessons, when swimming, at lunch times and also during therapy sessions when needed.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a Key Stage 1 setting.
  • Creative, Eager to learn and Ambitious.
  • Dedicated to Pupil Development.
  • Knowledge of Special Educational Needs.
  • Have excellent communication skills.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
