Job description

The Head Teacher of a Primary School requires behaviour specialist Teaching Assistants to support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis. If successful, you will be required to inspire, engage and progress pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. Although experience in education would be advantageous I would also be very keen to hear from applicants with experience in youth work and social care.

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with the Head Teacher at this school when it comes to their staffing and supply. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a small and friendly Primary School that plays an integral role within the local community.

The right Teaching Assistant would:

  • Posses a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have relevant school based experience supporting pupils in either EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Have a proven track record of building relations with both students and staff
  • Have good overall availability for both long and short term assignments
  • Have access to own mode of transport or good public transport links
