Do you have previous experience working in an Special Educational Needs (SEN) environment?

A primary school in Cardiff (CF23) are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant who is experienced in working with children with additional needs and challenging behaviours to work 1:1 with a pupil in a Year 2 class.

The role will involve working full time 1:1 with a pupil in a foundation phase Year 2 class who has additional learning needs (ALN) and can be challenging. The successful candidate will responsible for reporting back to teachers and parents and providing extra reading and writing interventions.

The school would ideally like someone with previous experience working with children with special needs however this doesn't have to be in a classroom/ education setting.

The school are looking to meet people as soon as possible with the hope of starting after the Easter break.

We can offer a competitive daily rate of £57 - £60 per day (we pay using PAYE with no admin fees!).
