Primary Teachers

Job description

Primary Teachers

Do you want regular work in a variety of primary schools?

Would you like to have a better work life balance but still be able to teach?

Do you love teaching but not the extra workload that can come with it?

We are currently working with a number of local Primary Schools in the East Lancashire area. We are looking to increase our teaching staff to cover the growing volume of day-to-day, PPA cover, long/short term sickness, Maternity/Paternity cover and course cover bookings. You will be expected to work in a number of Primary schools, these schools will vary in distance from your house and where possible the agency will try to arrange work ‘pre-booked’, giving you the best opportunity to arrive in school on time. Working on supply can be an excellent way to explore different schools and year groups.

As a supply teacher, you will be required to teach in EYFS, KS1 and KS2; however we will attempt to match the right year group with your preference and experience. There is also the possibility that the short term supply work may well lead to further work in school, or even permanent work.

The basic pay of a full time teacher is between GBP85 - GBP135 per day, the pay varies depending on your experience and the needs of the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
