Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Primary Teacher, experienced in supporting students with autism and Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties for a SEN school in North Yorkshire DL8. The role is to commence ASAP with the possibility of a long term contract for the right candidate.
Ideally applicants would have experience teaching ASC pupils in a SEND school setting from KS1 - KS2. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach are desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or Teachers with mainstream Primary experience.
Our ideal candidate will have:
-6 months experience teaching students with ASC in a mainstream or SEND setting between
-Up to date Team Teach and a good understanding of SEND
-Adaptable across subjects and a good Primary curriculum knowledge
-Qualified Teacher status with a good understanding of differentiation and behaviour management
-Patient and nurturing mannerism
