Role
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting in the new academic year (3rd September 2018). The school is located in Leeds, Hunslet- LS10 just 10 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. The school have previously achieved above 68% in the recent SATs and are looking for a Year 2 Class Teacher for a permanent post. The class currently has 31 children of mixed ability with one child with a one to one support. There is also a General Teaching Assistant in the class to support every day.
Ideal candidate
The school are looking for a:
- Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has recent experience teaching in KS1
- KS1 SATs experience (not compulsory)
- Able to stretch and challenge pupils
- Available full-time in September
- DBS
School
The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2016 and last year received above 68% in the SATs across the entire school. Writing is a weak area for the Year 2 class at the moment so the school are looking for a strong Year 2 Teacher who is able to raise attainment in the Year 2 class in this new coming year!
Teaching Personnel
