Primary Teacher – Maternity Cover (Stafford, ST16)
Location: Stafford, ST15
Pay: £140 – £200+ per day (based on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, maternity cover

Teaching Personnel are supporting a one-form entry Roman Catholic primary school in Stafford who are looking to appoint a dedicated Class Teacher to join their close-knit community for a maternity cover starting after Christmas.
The school is known for its nurturing ethos, supportive leadership, and strong sense of community. You don’t need to be Catholic, but you must be comfortable working within a faith-based environment.
Your Role:

Full classroom responsibility within a supportive, collaborative team

Deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners

Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff

Contribute to the wider school community and values

Maintain strong behaviour management and safeguarding practice
We’re Looking For:

QTS (essential)

Experience across primary year groups (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)

A warm, enthusiastic teacher committed to pupil progress

Someone who values inclusion, community, and pastoral care

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
