We have a role to start as a Year 5 Teacher available in September 2022. It will initially be a temporary position with the potential to become permanent!

This is an opportunity based in Bradford. Staff working at the school express their high levels of job satisfaction and the school’s investment in staff’s personal development. It is known to foster a supportive and positive environment both for pupils and staff.

As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for a lovely Year 5 class of around 30 pupils with some SEN and EAL learners. Your role will be to teach the designated pupils and undertaking associated pastoral and general teaching duties in order to provide high quality and continuity of education to pupils.

The successful candidate will:

  • have previous teaching/lecturing experience
  • have experience working with KS2 pupils
  • establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
  • be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • have effective verbal and written communication
  • support the use of support staff relevant to the class
  • contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
