Year 1 Teacher – “Good” Primary School in Salford, M6.
Working with established Key Stage 1 department with outstanding teachers
September Start - Maternity cover for 3 terms
Teaching Personnel are working with a good Primary School in Salford, to look for a Year 1 teacher to join their KS1 department from September. The position of year 1 teacher will be to cover a maternity leave for the academic year.
- Fixed, Long Term Contract
- Year 1 within a Key Stage 1 department.
- Transition days from September – working with leaving teacher
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a recently graded “Good” school under the new OFSTED framework. This flagship school in Salford offer great facilities and a support network within their Key Stage 1 department. With a focus on phonics and creative, cross-curricular approach to teaching, the school’s facilities are second to none to allow for a high standard of teaching and learning.
As a Year 1 teacher, experience of teaching using a cross-curricular approach and confidence to build in nurture and social aspects of learning to your teaching would be beneficial. In addition, a passion for working with mixed ability and high levels of SEN children would serve you well. In return, the school would offer either a newly qualified teacher all the support and CPD possible. You would be shadowing outstanding teachers within KS1 from mid November in order to allow for a smooth transition.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
