Primary Tutor
Are you a qualified teacher, an experienced teaching assistant or a graduate of a degree in English or Maths?
Do you have over 6 months experience in an education role?
Do you have excellent subject knowledge in English and/or Maths?
Are you flexible, able to build effective relationships and patient?
Are you keen to support Primary-aged children get ‘back on track’ in their education?

Teaching Personnel are looking for tutors for pupils in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 to provide focused support in their English or Maths learning. We are an approved provider for tuition through the National Tuition Programme.
The National Tutoring Programme is aimed at helping pupils catch-up on lost learning during the national lockdown and is also aimed to provide a longer-term contribution to closing the attainment gap. Tuition will be arranged in 15-hour blocks and will be either be face to face or online, 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3.
As a National Tutoring Programme Tuition Partner, Teaching Personnel will provide qualified teachers, graduates and experienced teaching assistants to deliver our programmes, along with a comprehensive set of services to help ensure success.
*Our tutors must undertake comprehensive CPD - accredited tutor training: ‘The Tutor Toolkit’*
To work as a tutor through the NTP you must be willing to complete FREE training through Teaching Personnel, such as:
- CPD accredited tutor training (minimum of 20 hours)
- Training on our toolkit
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- Induction with Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
