Upper Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

  • Upper Key Stage 2 Role

  • GBP450-GBP700 Per Week *Based on full time, dependant on experience.

An opportunity has arisen at a school in Preston teaching an Upper Key Stage 2 class. The class are below national average for Pupil Premium, SEN and EAL. This role will be ensuring that excellent progress is being made by ALL pupils in the class. The role is long term with a view to becoming permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all lessons are thoroughly planned
  • Differentiate to meet the needs of all learners
  • Utilise Teaching Assistants when available to promote learning
  • Contribute to the strong classroom management within the school
  • Commit to extra-curricular learning through clubs
  • Attend School CPD opportunities to develop professional learning

The school has excellent transport links and a secure car park for staff who drive.

The Head Teacher is very supportive of staff and is keen for the successful candidate to take part in CPD opportunities and contribute outside the classroom with extra-curricular activities. The school are continually looking to improve and want a teacher who can raise attainment and the school profile.
