Primary Teacher

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of schools across Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield and Worksop. We are looking for a teacher who has experience teaching in settings with a high intake of SEN, or Special School experience. We have a number of schools who have Nurture provision or Integrated Resource (IR) units. 

Our ideal Teacher will be patient and dedicated, with excellent behaviour management skills. We are looking for someone who has experience catering for children with additional needs and who has a calm approach. Ideally you will have previous Team Teach or MAPPA training - we can provide further training opportunities if needed. The IR units and Nurture provisions that we support are grouped for the children's needs, so you will work with children across the Key Stages. All provisions have a good support network. 

Our ideal Teacher would be...

  • Someone with experience teaching children with ASC/BESD 
  • Familiar working across the Key Stages 
  • A good understanding of how to differentiate to cater for SEN
