Year 6 Class Teacher (Caterham)

Start- January 2024

Pay- Pay to Scale

Location- Caterham, Surrey

If this sounds like you then we may have the perfect opportunity! Teaching Personnel are currently working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary school in Caterham. The school is looking for a year 6 teacher to join their team from January 2024 until the end of the academic year. The position has the potential to lead to a permanent role if the candidate is successful. The school are ideally look for someone willing to take on full teaching responsibilities but will consider part time applicants and teachers just looking to cover.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have an excellent understanding of the Upper KS2 curriculum and monitor the impact on pupil achievement.
  • Promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, cultural, physical and mental development alongside British values.
  • High expectations for every child.
  • Commitment to participating in continuous professional development.
  • Work alongside specific subject leaders to understand how their subject is developed across KS2.
  • Develop positive relationships with staff, governors, parents and children.
  • Plan effectively for support staff and monitor staff wellbeing.
  • Monitor the learning spaces within the classroom and updating resources throughout the year when appropriate.
  • Lead assemblies when appropriate.
  • You will have the drive, high standard and passion to enthuse our pupils and make a real difference to their outcomes and life chances.
