Teaching Personnel have a long-standing relationship with a SEN School in Salisbury, who cater for boys and girls with special needs such as Autism and Complex Learning Needs. The School has an in-house team of qualified therapists offering Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Sensory inegration.

There are currently a number of full time and part time teaching vacacies available, so please get in touch to discuss your availability. 

You could be working with young people that have moderate to severe learning difficulties, Autism, PMLD (Profound and multiple learning difficulties), physical disabilities and sensory impairments. 

To really thrive in this role, it is essential you can connect with young people who are not able to communicate. You must be playful, kind and receptive.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient - this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding!
  • QTS – ECT’s welcome to apply
  • Ideally you will have experience working with young people who have special needs but this is not essential
  • A strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents
  • Ability to differentiate lesson plans to suit all students

Working hours are 08:30 – 16:00, Monday – Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
