Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary school in the Penzance area who are looking for a Primary Teacher to work in Key Stage 2.

The Primary School is a good school providing education for over 200 children.They are excited to be able to appoint a well-organised, enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher to join their supportive, hardworking and committed team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a motivated and inspiring teacher who is prepared to go 'the extra mile' to ensure children have exciting and engaging learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom
  • Be passionate about securing excellent outcomes for all children
  • Have teaching experience in KS2, including Year 6 and excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Ideally have experience of administering KS2 SATS
  • Create an inspiring and purposeful learning environment
  • Encourage children to show initiative, take risks with their learning and challenge themselves
  • Have high expectations of themselves and the children
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a small team
  • Have a 'can do' attitude and a sense of humour

All candidates must have a DBS in Child workforce which is registered on the update service. If you do not have a current DBS then do not worry as we can support you through the process.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
