Job description

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in a truly inspiring school environment? We are seeking a passionate educator to join a warm, forward-thinking school community in Wareham, teaching learners aged 4 to 16. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Your Role

  • Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that promote curiosity and confidence.

  • Support pupils across a wide age range, adapting teaching to suit individual learning styles.

  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere where every learner feels understood, valued, and motivated.

  • Work closely with colleagues and families to ensure consistent progress and holistic development.

  • Bring energy, patience, and creativity to each day, making learning accessible and meaningful.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • A minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience, particularly supporting children with additional needs.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships.

  • A reflective, compassionate, and resilient approach to teaching.

  • A genuine passion for helping young people succeed, regardless of starting point.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
