Primary Teacher – Bridport
Location: Bridport, Dorset
Contract Type: Full-time (Fixed Term and Temp-to-Perm opportunities)
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £120 – £140 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is working on behalf of a warm and forward-thinking primary school in Bridport seeking a dedicated and inspiring Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to join a supportive school community that values creativity, inclusive practice, and high-quality teaching.

About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching role within Key Stage 1 or 2 (depending on experience and preference).
  • Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and working closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including events and extracurricular activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A strong understanding of primary pedagogy and curriculum expectations.
  • A caring, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
