Job description

A Role with Purpose, Impact, and Meaning

Are you ready for a teaching role where your work genuinely changes lives? We are seeking an inspiring Primary Teacher with QTS to join a highly supportive and well-resourced campus in Bournemouth. This is a setting that celebrates individuality, encourages creativity and believes every young person deserves a champion who never gives up on them.

You will be working with pupils aged 5 to 18 who experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, as well as Autism, Physical Disabilities, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties. Here, progress may be measured in breakthroughs, confidence, communication or a small success that takes weeks to achieve — and every one of them matters.

This is a full time role with an immediate start, working hours 9.30am to 4.30pm.


What You Will Do

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that reflect individual needs

  • Inspire students to take risks, explore learning, and build resilience

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support emotional regulation and communication

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams

  • Celebrate every achievement, no matter how small, and help pupils recognise their own progress


What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Patience, resilience, and a belief that every child deserves a fresh start

  • A reflective, flexible teaching style that adapts to the learner, not the other way around

You do not need previous experience in this environment — just empathy, passion, and the desire to make a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
