Teaching Personnel are looking for flexible and enthusiastic supply teachers for our client primary schools in York and Selby. We are looking for newly qualified and experienced teachers. You will be able to work full time or part time with roles ranging from daily bookings to long term assignments.

The successful Supply Teacher for this post will have:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered with the Update Service (can apply through Teaching Personnel)
  • At least 3 days availability per week

Desirable skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop lasting relationships
  • Flexibility - the ability to adapt quickly to new surroundings
  • Effective classroom and behaviour management
  • High teaching standards and a proven track record of raising attainment

Pay: £100 - £150 per day

Location: York and Selby

Contract: Temporary with permanent positions available

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
